Farrar vs Toad

Stop the trains! Farrar's heightened pontificating leading up to the election is refocusing onto the Green party of Aotearoa. Perhaps he realises that the increasing popularity of the Green machine isn’t going to stop and posses a real threat to National.

There are many examples of the Greens effective leadership... their quick response in bravely proposing a special levy, to help pay for the Christchurch rebuild for instance, turned out to be right all along.

Farrar as usual is completely ignoring National’s ineptitude and dishonesty, which will drive voters away in droves. He doesn’t let the truth get in the way of yet another little fairytale when he writes:
How fascinating. At the Greens website:
Sign up for email notifications about when political blogs mention our MPs names and Green issues! These timely notifications will enable you to respond quickly enough to be among the first commenters, ensuring high visibility for our views and perspectives.
Personally I find this close to astro-turfing, that fake activism which appears to be grass-roots but is centrally arranged.
I welcome commenters of all persuasions and we have many Green voters comment here, such as Toad. but I’d rather not have people who don’t normally contribute rush over just to post comments about how great the Greens are or the like. I prefer people to response because they have read something they want to comment on – not because Green HQ has notified them do go and post supportive comments.
The blurb Farrar highlights is an invitation for Green supporters to comment at frogblog... that's all. There are no reds under the bed or hidden agendas... Farrar et al are clasping at straws by pointing their fat little fingers and shouting accusations in their hollow echo chambers.

The National party lapdog doesn't understand much about the grass being greener on the other side of the fence eh! As usual, Farrar’s defunct analysis of the situation is completely wrong! But that doesn't let his rent a crowd swallow it hook line and sinker. Unlike National, the Green’s are popular because they have a plan to get New Zealand out of the dumpster. It's a concise and well-researched plan that doesn't involve selling out.

I presume the only reason Toad bothers to comment on Kiwibog or post at g.blog about the experience is because Farrar goads him with posts like this and this one. Besides, it's a misconception that Toads like bogs anyway. Only trolls like bogs. Now what was that motto again?
